HCS Voicepacks Multi-Crew Profile for Elite: Dangerous
by CMDR TheThingIs
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is it?
An all encompassing community profile that will replace all other profiles (probably not but it sounds good)
Why should I use it?
You don't need multiple voicepacks to use this, whether you own 1 of the HCS Voicepacks or all of them, this will do them all. You can run it with a multi-crew giving different voices to tactical, comms, flight and interaction mode. Or you can use just one voice for everything, it's up to you. Easier updating and community driven. Want a command, find a bug? Ask and I'll do my best to pop it in for you or fix the issue. I'm fairly quick at updating things.
Why did I create it?
As with most people, I like tinkering with VoiceAttack and creating my own commands. When the triple profiles were released I started to adapt it to work with the other voices, as I have all of them and there was nothing that catered for that. So, build your own I thought. It's now morphed into a whole different beast with numererous extra commands and tweaks. Still based on the original triple profiles though. I play alot of Elite: Dangerous so I'm pretty versed at altering and tweaking the profile to make it work with E: D very well.
What main features does it have?
5 different roles: flight control, tactical, comms, interaction mode and education
Uses 1 or all of the HCS Voicepack voices
Community driven and written by someone who plays the game a lot (19 weeks plus in game time)
Updated constantly
Crew rotation: uses a different voice for every command
Hirez screenshot
Ship's Log control
Music player
Audio control
Dictation
Education profiles
Shield cell tracking
Shield booster control
HCS plugins
many, many more additions and tweaks
What do I need to use it?
VoiceAttack and the Astra pack from HCS Voicepacks. The profile is completely free but if you feel like giving something as a thank you then make a donation to the charity SpecialEffect.org.uk for me. Buying another voicepack is also a good idea, or 2 or 3 or all of them
Go on, you know you want to!
Where do I get it?
Latest version: v2.3b in the Astra pack and v2.3b as a patch for those using v2.3 or v2.3a which you can grab from here: http://forum.hcsvoicepacks.com/forum...r-minor-issues
IMPORTANT: only use the versions of VoiceAttack that I specify in the readme.txt (in the multi-crew folder). Newer versions have not been tested and may not work correctly.
RTFM: seriously, there is a readme.txt, you must read it, this is an advanced profile
see you in the black commanders...
