Eden missing files

    Eden missing files

    I recently purchased the Eden voice pack unfortunately it only contained the files listed in the attached screenshot. Isn't there supposed to be an Eden bindings file (among others?) What maybe worse is I did it 2 more times, so I have no downloads left for Eden. If you need the original HCS+VoicePacks+EDEN.zip let me know and I can provide it. Please help, VoiceAttack is currently dead in the water for me.

    You need to run installplugins.exe first, and then install.exe.

    With the customizer plugin that we now have, we no longer need to supply .binds for the pack, seeing as we can now use/create bind files for you.

      Hi Gangrel,

      I've done this and now I'm getting thissee attached) I assume I should now have an Eden selection in my elite dangerous profiles, but I do not, however the old Anubis profile still shows up even though I've deleted it from my VoiceAttack profiles. So I'm still not getting something?

        I'm starting to believe the easiest thing to do might be to just uninstall voiceattack and reinstall from scratch. What do you think?

          we cannot use the stock bindings that come in elite, only custom ones. Go change one of the keypresses in the scheme you have chosen and you will see it changes to a custom one...then we can use it and it will tell you what keys need to be bound...just add them in.

            It appears there are quite a few of them,
            The following is a list of keys which MUST be bound to a keyboard keypress for all commands to function.
            It doesn't matter what key you bind as long as there is one. You can use modifiers as well so
            something like ALT+A or CTRL+A are fine too.

              indeed...VA needs to press keyboard keys and the stock bindings have very few already done for you. You can either add them all manually, using this link as a guide: http://forum.hcsvoicepacks.com/forum...fault-keybinds

              or you can use the keybind creator to automatically add them all in for you. Say "protocol override customise my settings" and on the window that pops up you will see the keybind creator option with further explanation on it's page.

                Thanks ThingIs, I went and watched RookFett's excellent video series and am a bit further along. After following your link it looks like there really is no easy way. I guess I'll just have to into elite and manually set up my warthog hotas. Thanks again for your patience and help. I'm sure I'll run into more problems, but at least now I have something of a clue.
