  • Profile patches for minor issues ELITE: DANGEROUS

    Finally with the new profiles we are able to provide quick fix patches for them. This will only ever be for minor issues, anything major or profile breaking will be released as a complete profile for you to download again.

    IMPORTANT
    ---------
    The Multi-Crew patch is for the HCS Multi-Crew profile and not Elite Multi-Crew, they are 2 different things.

    The patches for the main HCS profiles should only be applied to v2.3 or any revisions a,b,c etc


    Instructions
    ------------
    First and foremost, make a BACKUP of the profile you are applying this patch to. This especially applies to profiles you have
    customised as it is quite possible this will overwrite your customisations and you'll lose them.

    These fixes can be applied to a standard profile or a full house profile. Start VoiceAttack and select the profile you wish to
    patch. Click the edit profile button. Click the import commands button on the bottom left of the window. Browse to where you
    unpacked the patches and select the correct file. An import commands window will pop up with some warnings about conflicting
    commands, ignore it and click import. It will then ask you to confirm the overwriting of commands, say yes. Click Done.

    fixed: clmcontrol path was set incorrectly which gave errors with play, pause etc
    fixed: startjump wasn't setting the game state correctly
    fixed: starting game in srv or fighter tried to switch ship
    fixed: issues with cmd's running twice due to eddi voiceattack responder being on. solution was to remove the eddi journal cmds completely so
    this profile now solely relies on the hcs plugin for it's voiceattack execution. the profile is still fully compatible with eddi
    deleted:commands cannot be deleted by patch. any cmds to be deleted will be disabled, blanked and moved to the "To be deleted on next full profile update"
    category and will also have their description changed to "delete me"

    FYI: this does overwrite ((Customisation)) so you may want to keep a copy of that cmd so you can transfer your settings to the new one

    The problem with Comms feed, chat settings, invitation and missions comms still remains as I explained earlier. At least it's present in Astra voice pack.
    I hoped that it will be fixed in this mini patch we all expected (for other corrections ofc) but it seems it'll have to wait for other subversion
    Tho it's easy to fix them by editing wrong commands name and typos for each of mentioned panel command issues so it'll not make problems for me

      I hoped you'll have 5 mins for that since it's only several lines which have either a typo, wrong tab movement or calling abandoned subcommand which is not present anymore. Needs like 30-40s to fix them all and those fixes are not worth the new subversion or another patch so they'll wait for some other release when you get more fixes or subfeatures covered I guess

            No, each patch is for that specific voice pack.

                    I'm sorry to inform you that there is no such profile named "VERITY", at least not for a year or so.

                    The best thing to do is a clean install and that means that you have to:

                    1. delete old Verity profile from Voice Attack and close Voice Attack.
                    2. uninstall Verity from control panel / programs and features
                    3. uninstall Plugins from control panel / programs and features
                    4. go to C:\Program Files (x86)\VoiceAttack\Sounds and delete folder named hcsvoicepack (that's Verity) [or go to the folder where you installed Voice Attack if you used non-default path]

                    13. Issue "import my bindings" command
                    14. Start Elite Dangerous
                    15. Enjoy new Verity fully ready and compatible for Elite Dangerous patch 2.3

                      Not need for now. Verity full house profile have problems coming from download. My friend send me he s profile and its all work now

                        From what I see you just used either wrong profile or some very old profile since there is no profile named VERITY for way too long.
                        New (patch 2.3 ready) profiles are named Elite: ProfileName so for Astra it would be Elite: Astra Full House or in your case Elite: Verity Full House
                        and upon startin VA you would get profile version number listed in Voice Attack log as well (2.3a if you applied the latest patch).
