Under what conditions will "Silent Running" start up.

My question is under what conditions will "Silent Running" start up in game play.

----------Does it only turn on at voice command or keyboard key?

----------Are there other conditions that will turn on "Silent Running"?

Like a piece of space junk or using the cargo scoop and the item hits my shields and I go "Silent Running".
Because I have had it go on before I dock, just after I docked. Also while I was in Starport Services looking
at the mission list. It has also happened in a few more places.

It only turns on via voice command/keyboard key.

The first thing I would do is double check your bindings ingame to ensure that the binding for Silent Running (keyboard press) is NOT the same as any other keybinding you might have.

The first thing I would do is double check your bindings ingame to ensure that the binding for Silent Running (keyboard press) is NOT the same as any other keybinding you might have.

I used the Customiser to create the key binding but at the time of these problems I was using the old key binding that Customiser created under Singularity v2.2.4.
I recreated my key bindings under HCS - Singularity (Elite) v2.2.5. Looks like that fixed my problem.
