  • Unable to install Voicepacks

    Hi all!

I wonder if someone could help, I've previously purchase voicepacks for ED and installed them without issue. I recently purchased 3 more on the New Years Sale but unfortunately I'm unable to install them.

I've extracted all three of them (Carina, Vega and ALIX) but when I attempt to run the installer I get the attached error.

The same happens when I try and install HCS Tools.

I've attempted to re-extracted them, re-downloaded them, reboot, run chkdsk, run sfc scan run dism repair (wiundows 10) but none have fixed the issue.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? as it's happening on all packs it's either an issue with the packaged installer or my local PC, but not sure what the issue could be as it's a very generic error (although looks VB like, so maybe an issue with .NET ?)

    Thanks all!

HUh, will have to poke someone about this, as I have no idea here personally speaking.

Do your *existing* voicepack installers suffer the same issue?

When you downloaded the voicepack, there is also a 2nd executable called "Install HCSTools.exe" which you will also need to install.

If you have done this, then you will need to enable plugin support (Voice Attack setting, first tab)

          flegg
open a dos prompt and then enter the following:

          sfc /scannow

once finished try the installer again
The Singularity profile - One profile to rule them all and at HCS we bound them

You see, TheThingIs, eventually you'll be allright.
