  • AD-ASTRA observations.

Hi guys just sent you an email stating couldn't find AdAstra comments in forum, clearly I didn't look hard enough then! So here is my feedback.

Just started using AdAstra, I like it but I've hit upon a couple of annoyances that are disrupting my enjoyment. When jumping through system AdAstra information on number of jumps, fuel status, system status etc. are playing overlapped as per previous comments by rfrooney. The timings are all over the place, whilst I'm being advised of my fuel status AdAstra tells me the stars scoop-ability status, how far to the nearest station I can land on, on a side note, have also noticed the distances reported in this are incorrect a number of times too, how many bodies are in the system etc. you get the gist. All this information pretty much plays at or near the same time. Also, being advised of an interdiction after it has happened is a little moot and an annoyance, what would be more beneficial is be notified of a potential interdiction when the message "That's the ship I've been looking for" or similar shows in the message pane. Not sure if API is able to do this but that would be cool if it could.

We're all stuck at home so people will have a little more time to find things to gripe about and nitpick but please know this isn't the case! Just some observations and suggestions and a little feedback to assist the Alpha and maybe make a system I really enjoy using a bit better.

    Be safe everyone. o7

Distance to stations varies according to the rotation of the system...so really it's an "approximate" distance

Interdiction is not something that is done by Ad-Astra, that is the standard packs. I'll make a note of the suggestion though as it could indeed be useful if it's possible.

Great feedback, all is welcome positive and negative...keep it up
    10char stuff
    1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
    2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty

    4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong

Changing option within Audio to Integrated Components has certainly reduced overlapping Astra/AD-ASTRA notifications but not resolved it entirely. Currently when jumping to a system the notifications for Fuel status and system bodies talk over each other with the fuel status starting first and a few seconds later the system bodies start.

This is another jump sound / timing thing...

Sometimes (not every time) after I say "Engage supercruise" AdAstra replies immediately with "Superluminal speeds achieved" before the FSD is even charged.

make sure you have VA's audio settings set to use Integrated components

that isn't Ad-Astra, it's your Astra pack or any of your other packs

Hi, it's almost a year that I had not used voice attack. Now I'm back, is there update of ASTRA and if existed update, how could I update?
