  • Elite voice pack ELI, no distinction between SC and HS? Other issues as well.

So, I am running through setting up Eli (freaking love it by the way), and upon reaching the toggle FSD, Supercruise, and Hyperdrive section it turns out that the voice pack only uses the same key for both SC and HS!

This is counter intuitive and should be rectified, as they are distinct settings for a reason. I suppose I can change the bindings in the profile, but I don't yet know enough about the software to determine which commands must be changed. Is there a complete list of commands and key outputs somewhere I can use? Is this a previously resolved issue that I just haven't found yet?

Also there seems to be no command available for wingman's target.

I will add more as I go through the list and find them.

So far, docking request has not functioned properly even once. The commands appear to be correct however. It seems like the window retains it's last tab.
The nebula expedition commands referenced in the start here file seem to be missing. Is there something I need to do to make this work.

This has been how it has been done by us since day 1, and is carried across all of our Elite Dangerous profiles

Right Ctrl, and And typing mistake on our part.

    Edit the "Wing-mans target;Select wing-mans target;Select wing target;Lock wing target;Lock on to wing target;Lock wing-mans target;Lock on to wing-mans target;Wing-mates target;Select wing-mates target;Lock wing-mates target;Lock on to wing-mates target;Select team target;Lock team target;Lock on to team target" command so that the Execute Command reads ((wingmans target)) (the s slipped past us somehow)

I will add more as I go through the list and find them.

Do you see the panels changing ingame? (ie going from one tab to the next and then the cursor moving up and down?). If not, will look into it, If yes then the panel tracking has been broken. This normally happens when you end up using a non voice command to flick between panels (ie keyboard/joystick action), and we don't track those. If you do use a keyboard/joystick action to swap between the panels, then once you have done what you needed to, you then put it back as to how it was.

This is our bad. Am looking into it.

Turns out I had my WASD keys goobered up somehow, so the docking request is fine now. Now that I haven't been awake for 20 hours I was able to slow down the command timing and see exactly what it was missing, and it clicked.

As for the hyperspace/supercruise thing, it seems I just have to manually change it? I suppose that would mean splitting all the commands? Something I don't have enough experience with to feel comfortable doing just yet.

So, on the nebula stuff, I take it there will just be an updated profile made available to me somehow? Also the "Educational facts" are missing.

Ok, I screwed up once ( I hadn't had coffee by the time of the last post).

We do actually have Supercruise and Hyperspace split apart as separate commands. We use the "Toggle FSD" and "Supercruise" keybinds. So with the toggle FSD if you have a system targetted then you will enter hyperspace. If you don't have it targetted, then you will enter Supercruise. The supercruise command should work as planned if you have a system targetted.

Definitely for the nebula stuff. Educational facts, not so sure... but possible. Manual should be updated with corrections at the relevant time though

Right, but that's where the issue is. Toggle FSD toggles both, as stated. Since the hyperspace drive is it's own unique thing, it prevents you from charging (heat) and jumping to SC (time) if you call the command and don't have a system targeted.

If I am in combat and am trying to bail out of there, the last thing I want is to have it start charging, think all is well, and then wind up wasting that time. The only onscreen difference between SC and HS is that the system data pops up. If I am busy looking at one of the tabs, I wont notice it.

I don't mean to complain about it, I can probably change it myself. It just seems odd that so much time and work was put into writing this wonderful voice pack only to leave out a command.

But that's far less important than everything else, so thanks for the help.

Will there be any kind of notice sent out that it's been updated so I can make the change?

We might not necessarily change the binding to whatever you would prefer. We have had it this way for over 2 years now...

"Engage jump drive;Go to hyperspace;Enable jump drive;Go to jump;Make the jump;Engage frame shift;Engage frame shift drive": This will hit the J key ((Jump Drive)) command

"Engage supercruise;Go to supercruise;Enable supercruise;Supercruise drive": This will hit the Numpad / key ((Supercruise)) command.

If you want to change the key to the "Hyperspace" button, then just change the ((jump drive)) command to what you have it bound to in Elite Dangerous.

Right, I am way less concerned about that detail than the missing features from the voice pack lol

Thanks for your help thus far, also.
