OK i just did that and it worked just like before for one selection but then no more joy. I also ran it on just the x52pro raw profile without voiceattack or voicepacks and it did the same thing. This is a brand new unit so i don't believe it is hardware related but rather some setting somewhere?

Huh... the only thing i can think of is that you might be clicking "Cancel" instead of apply at the end of setting the binds.
Once you start making some changes to the *stock* ED binds[1], Elite Dangerous should start naming it as "Custom".
[1] Not the ones we supply, but the ones built into Elite Dangerous1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own

Are you using any "Elite Dangerous" setting tweakers at all ( EDProfiler/ ED Display for example), that you might be using to launch the game with?1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own

i guess i am not sure what those even are. It is through steam. I have the ability to run the game in regular mode or vr mode but for the sake of simplicity i have been trying all of this in the regular mode.Comment

Huh... that is strange indeed then. I run the steam version and I am able to customise/change the settings as and how I like.
Are there any files in the directory where ED saves its bindings to?
This would be C:\Users|<username>\Appdata\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

So, with the new updates to ASTRA and Eden that came out yesterday (2-27-18) I opened the download links in my emails about it and was taken to the proper place for ASTRA, but when i opened the link in my Eden email it also had a download for Orion also. I'm not sure if this is because i purchased them together on the same day originally, or if Orion also got an update to fit the 1.0 release of Singularity as I'm assuming this is what the update emails were about. Just looking for some clarification as to weather or not I need to download and re-install the (possibly new) Orion pack too.
