Fair enough, I've already picked up a ton and learning how these products interact together more and more. (I.E. EDDI and VA) Quick question on your multi-crew profile. I have a snippet of some EDDI key commands I was wondering if you could explain there uses to me. In order for things to be written to the log do I have to issue these commands? I was under the assumption things were automatically written to the logs and that's where EDDI is able to pull information from.1 Photo

What you are asking is a bit like asking how to drive a carIt's just a matter of learning how to program VoiceAttack and you can do pretty much whatever you wish. If you get stuck trying to do something in particular then we'll try to help. The VA website is a good resource and even more is the VA manual that comes with it.

Conversation with ASTRA and .wav files
Hey guys, i'm super new to all this but EDDI and VA have changed my Elite and SC experience completely. I feel like a damn space captain now. So cool and much appreciated to all the people who put in work on these projects. I'm still not entirely sure how EDDI and VA work together or if im supposed to say commands to EDDI ever but i'm getting the basics down. My question here is, if I wanted to add in more chatter and casual conversation with ASTRA is that something I can do? Do I need to create .wav files to do so? How would I go about doing that? I'm very interested in adding to the ASTRA commands to enlighten the experience even further I just want to get an understanding of the process. Adding the actual commands did not look to be overly difficult. Thanks for the help. CMDR NuggieTags: None
