.I dont know if this will help, or if you have already tried it but.
Have you checked out the keybindings video from HCS? Using the voice packs to set commands?

Have a look, it might help. Otherwise wait for more help from Gangrel.

Thanks Nolly. Gangrel was scratching their head also. We went on the stream and tried a bunch of things, something odd going on. no resolution yet

Some success! Reinstalled .NET framework and VA. Somehow the Run as Admin command was reset on VA, even tho it still showed up in the Icon (you know that little blue and yellow shield). Just need to config some of the keybinds, but a quick test had most functions working properly.

Awesome to hear. It was a head scratcher, and to be fair, I hadn't thought of .net needing installing/reinstalling. But at least it was on VA's side and not the voice pack side.

            Hi Zappa72,

That's an unusual issue/question. There isn't actually an enable frame shift to hyperspace in the profile and the reason it's not in the profile is because it's useless. What that keybind does is engage the frameshift jump drive only if you are in supercruise, it doesn't work if you are in normal space. Just pressing J does the same thing and works in both normal space and supercruise. It's probably a left over command for something that didn't get implemented and they've just not removed it. I've played over 20 weeks in Elite and I can't see the point of it, unless someone knows different. I shall ask around though and see if anyone else knows what that keybind is for. In the meantime....forget about it

I'm picking up a pack, or two, today. Will the packs work through key presses alone, or have I always got to use a mic?

they can work through keypresses but the packs are not designed that way, it's all about the voice control

I personally use 1 or 2 that activate on keypress, like boost but there are far too many commands in the profile to be fully keyboard only. A headset and mic is the only way we recommend the packs to be used.

I have VoiceAttack set up with Eden just fine now, but I'm having trouble figuring out which keybinds to use for my HOTAS Thrustmaster. Any suggestions? The tutorial video claims there's a default bind, but I don't see it. Just XBox ones and several others. One is T16000M, though. Any help is appreciated.

Well, the T16000M might work, it might not.. it all depends as to exactly what model of Thrustmaster you are using (looking at their webpage, there are several "Thrustmaster" joysticks....

We don't have one right now, we did... but without having the actual hardware to test it out on, updating it has been impossible. Hand hacking the .bind file is hit and miss (at least whenever I have tried it, it worked for some, but doing exactly the same for other hardware didn't work).

The best option now is to use the list of commands here and ensure that the commands listed have a key bound to them.

Thing is, I'm mute. Whenever I stream or play with friends, I have to have another friend to come over and handle the mic. I was hoping to be able to solo with keypresses.
