    Hello

Thank you so much for the work you put in to making the personal pack
I love hearing it and have already got it set up working with the astar voice pack and i cant wait to see it up and running on my new YouTube channel

    Really a five star work
I have already recommend you to my friends that play elite they have seen what it is like in game and just how better it is having a voice pack and a personal pack
    Keep up the great work

The default speech triggers really need to be more varied, because at the moment, to get a nice smooth experience, one has to go in and input extra words to trigger certain commands. For example, when I first loaded up a voice pack, my personal go-to phrase to drop from supercruise was "drop from supercruise/drop fsd/disengage fsd". Neither of those were programmed and I think that they're pretty common and wouldn't conflict with anything else. Just a nitpick. A similar issue is trying to get to know the "AI". Some of the questions are so rigid and specific, that's it's really more of a lucky easter egg than immersive interaction. Without going into the commands and spoiling it, I would never have thought to ask some of those questions, ever. They need several more likely triggers each. Other than that it's been great.

Hi, I bought the Eden voicepack for Elite a short while ago and I'm loving the way it works with the game. I don't have a huge amount of time for gaming (turns out having young children and a job are a massive timesink - who knew?) and I hadn't really got into Elite after buying it as each time I logged in I had to relearn all the keybindings before I could do anything competently. The voicepack really opened the game up to me without having to memorize all the keys upfront. I am finding that occasionally VoiceAttack picks up ingame voices and recognizes them as commands - leading to a couple of comedy firing of the afterburners while instation - but beyond that it's been a hugely positive experience playing the game with Eden along for the ride.

I'll definitely look at another voicepack or two down the line, whenever I can choose between them. I missed the Storybook demo, it seems, but I'm really looking forward to what you achieve with those too.

As a writer, it's always good to hear the sentiment behind my words has been accurately conveyed. Thank you.

You're 100% correct. We are not perfect. Nobody is. You echo my sentiments. What matters is, striving to do your best and having the humility to learn by your mistakes. Personally speaking, I still aim for perfection, despite its impossibility to achieve. If you ask me, it's far better to aim your sights on infinity, instead of aiming them on the ceiling. It's the impossible dreams that influence us the most.

After buying Voice Attack just a couple of days ago, I also bought the Astra pack to enhance my Elite Dangerous experience. Being a noob, I struggled a little bit when I attempted to install Astra, since I found the help file a tad confusing. So, I posted what had occurred in order to share the perspective of a noob and how it can be a little confusing when one is installing this exceptional plugin for the first time. Barely half an hour later, Gangrel and TheThingIs had responded to thank me for my feedback and that it had been duly noted.

A short while ago, I was checking my emails and noticed there was an update for Astra available to download. So, I uninstalled and installed the new version. To my utter amazement, once I installed it, I noticed a new file called "Profile readme" in the Elite Dangerous folder. The readme file basically echoed the concerns I raised, with some helpful clarifications. This is the result of two possibilities. Either my advise alone was taken or I wasn't alone and other people had given similar feedback. The point is, they listened, they ACTUALLY listened.

How impressive is that? Well done guys. By far, you are the best devs I have ever known! You have a brilliant product and this is reflected in your standards of excellence. Thank you!

So obviously no one has been in this thread for awhile but seems most of you are familiar with the Astra pack so that's a start. I purchased the Astra pack and the personalized pack as well. Downloaded and installed the Astra Main pack first then sent off the info for the personalized pack with the info of what I want to be called etc.. Well got the pack today downloaded it unzipped it to the specified location but when I say a command in voice attack it recognized the command but there's no response. Instead I get a message saying; Unable to play sound : [Legacy audio requires a valid wave file. (C:\Program Files (x86)\VoiceAttack\Sounds\hcspack\role\personal pack\Personal Responses commander\Personal Responses commander_0078.mp3)] . If I just do a normal unzip to where ever it desires to be placed then I get a message saying that the sound isn't mapped right or something. HELP PLEASE! I WANT TO ENJOY IMMERSIVE AI TOO!!!

I must confess to mainly using Astra only because of time constraints but the other voices make a pleasant change. I have yet to use a multi-voice set but I will do soon. Just like to say a big Thank You to Paul, Nolly, Gangrel, Rega and all that have helped in the development, testing and user support of the packs. You are all STARS!

Thank you... more engaging and fresh content will always be provided. Especially if you folks continue to show the massive amount of support. More coming very soon

I'm currently using an ancient logitech attack 3 joystick that my son brought about a decade ago. It does its job lol

I've been trying to work out why Verity sometimes stops opening my left hand panels.
She complies 8 times out of ten but always seems to let me down when I actually want. I think its something to do how the exit command may work.

I am also trying to put together a command or two with reactions to my bad docking /crashing /and general bad piloting

    Hello all,

Firstly, Thank you all for the packs. In my humble opinon? They make Elite great . Increasing immersion 100%. Well done to all involved

At the moment I have Verity and KSAI, .
Verity, sometimes doesn't open the navigation window upon request. I get the response "navigation" but nothing happens.I have to press 1 manually
I am still trying to find out why. It can happen when playing on a single verity2 profile or profile swapping with KSAI.

KSAI,is 18+ and really for the laughs. The "targeting next f**k wit" makes me smile everytime.
Although more limited in spoken commands 544, He is perfectly suited for the combat role.
He's even better if you both support the same football club.

I will be adding to my packs soon. Probabily Minus, Leo, and Astra

I dont really want to purchase Astra ( as im not very keen on her voice) however she seems to have some packs which
make her an overall better choice for the ships main ai,

Has anyone else noticed they are playing more with the voice packs than actually playing the game.Or is it just me?

Bought Astra today, and I don't think now, after setting her up, I could ever do without her. Going to make a few custom interactions for her, the most blindingly missing chit chat is a simple...

    [Player] Astra?
    [Astra] yes commander,

Then once you (seem) to have her attention...

    [Player] How are you today?
    [Astra] Fine commander

Then you can immerse this player greeting for whatever you wish ie...

    [Player] Astra?
    [Astra] yes commander,

[Player] Take her up;let's go; (launching from platform)
    [Player] Deploy hardpoints
    [Player] Open the map
[Player] Tell me about the Viper
    etc etc

Thanks you for making this wonderful voice pack, tbh, at £9.99, that's really is a steal.
Although I checked to see if she had any different names, ship names like in the tut video you have on youtube, but I guess you discontinued that :/

I've just picked up ASTRA and (omgPaulDarrow!!) Minus and am having so much fun with them. I'm pretty new to Dangerous Elite as a game - I was enticed into it by my adult son who thought it would tick all the boxes for what I look for in a game (exploring, trading, 'pillaging'). It was far more complex than other games I'd played, and I really struggled to remember all the commands especially when in the middle of battle. VoiceAttack + voice packs were the perfect solution and I absolutely had to have Minus. I can't describe the thrill of having 'Avon' at helm the first time I summoned Minus to the bridge - took me back to those long ago early teenage days of watching Blake's 7 and I most certainly uttered a couple of fan-girl shrieks of delight! My only problem now is deciding which next voice pack to get - they all look so wonderful. Tom Baker? Brian Blessed? KsAi? Gah - it is too hard to pick! Thank you very much for the work y'all put into these packs. I very much appreciate it!
