Just added him yesterday, however when I say "Crewman Helix" VA interprets it as "crewman He Licks" or "crewman Alix". Where do I find his info so I can get him to recognize my callout to him? Thanks in advance.

Several options:
1) In the voice trigger editor -> Crew Command Roster. This is where you can change his name to something else / add in another pronounciation (ie helix; he licks) (so split them with a semi colon )
2) Voice Attack settings -> Recognition Tab -> Utilities button -> Add word to windows dictionary.
Other Potential Solutions:
Voice Attack Settings -> Recognition Tab
1) Take Command Weight Value down
2) Turn the Minimum recognised Confidence level Up
3) Enable/Disable Adaptive Recognition (restart required)
4) Enable/Disable Acoustic Echo Cancellation (restart required)
Voice Attack Settings -> Hotkeys
1) enable Voice Attack to listen when you have a keyboard/joystick button (need to enable and assign joystick here) held down
If all else fails, and VA is still mishearing you when nothing is said, then it could well be a case of training up a new speech recognition profile (Voice Attack settings -> Recognition -> Utilities -> Speech Control Panel -> Advanced Speech Options1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong

You are using a very old version of the Event Horizon profile. The one that you should be using is version 2.03.
If you have VA set to load a specific profile on start up, this can affect it from updating (especially from VERY old profiles, where the Customiser was not necessarily included).
Voice Attack settings -> First Tab .
Load Profile on start up Should be set to "NONE"
Global Profile should be set to "NONE".1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own

Same thing attempting multiple times, a clean install of VA didn't work. Would uninstalling all of my packs and starting with a newer one then going back thru to older ones likely fix that issue? or is there a file I can delete?Last edited by KuruptU4Fun; 21 January 2022, 07:41 PM.

What profiles do you have in your VA selection box?
If you just have the Star Citizen one, then try running VA as a normal user (they might have been installed under that user account).1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own

10 total, 9 of which are created by HCS for programs. The other one(s) were imports to get a "Contact ATC" macro to work.
I do have 2 EH (SC) Beta profiles. One starts with HCS and the other not.I moved over to the HCS one and things started working. Thank you.Last edited by KuruptU4Fun; 22 January 2022, 12:17 PM.

I would, for your own sanity, remove the old "non HCS" labelled SC profile, just so you don't get confused in the future
