Not getting sounds to play on LEO

Hi there! So I finally jumped on a voice pack with Holly -errr- I mean Leo, and I'm testing everything on Voice Attack before diving into Elite. One problem though; none of the sounds are playing based on my commands. Things are being recognized, but Leo isn't saying anything. How do I fix this?

When you installed the pack did you change the location of the installation. It requires to be in you voice attack sounds folder.

You can also try to make sure you are running Voice Attack as administrator, and in the VA settings tab make sure Force Legacy Audio is unchecked. Also what media player are you using as a default player for mp3's?

Thanks for answering my question. Here's some answers for you:

did you change the location of the installation: No. I even uninstalled V.A. and re-installed so it would be at the default location and now everything is where it should be. Pretty much just hit 'Next' during installation of both.

make sure you are running Voice Attack as administrator: Was previously done, so no change.

VA settings tab make sure Force Legacy Audio is unchecked: Doesn't do anything whether it's checked or not. Most people online are actually telling me to keep this checked?

what media player are you using as a default player for mp3's? For defaults, I'm using WMP.

Is Astra required?

Downloaded Astra and that seemed to fix the issue. How do you go about having both active (I saw a youtube video where someone had Leo and Astra having a small discussion, etc.)?

Side note: Maybe you guys should put something next to each of the voice packs that states you need Astra for the pack to work. Little misleading and a shame that only one place on the site says Astra is required.

Leo doesn't need ASTRA installed to work.

There are some things (like constellations/quantumn theory/ship descriptions/commodities) that only ASTRA can do, but the profiles are all setup to be independent of each other. I have tried this myself just now.

There is a youtube video on how to setup profile switching between the various packages. This feature would need the relevant packages to work. You cannot switch over to Dark, Legend, Leo, Venus, ASTRA unless you own them.
