i have had several hours on this update and astra needs a spanking for absenteeism. keybinds work but she is not talking to me. is she mad?

What do you have your audio output settings set to? I have mine set to integrated components (although Windows Media is also suitable)
Do you get any errors in the VA log?
Side note: I had this happen to myself actually a couple of days ago. Turns out I had muted Voice Attack in the mixer1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong

well, as i am a disabled vet, i have been all over the place with this thing. i loved it when it worked, but after the last update, i haven't got to play elite or listen to sexy astra's voice.i broke it somehow. now my son switched to winders ten on my box, i have nothing, still. i had at one time the keybinds working without voice, then i did something trying to fix it and it went away too, after i installed a singularity. i have friends i want to play with, ships to buy and crash. please, help me. my son bought this for me as a gift. i cant play without the voice control due to my hands and the over ten times i have broken them.i right now have a blank slate on which to start on. please, tell me step by baby step how to bring my girl back t o life, astra needs me...Comment

Can you make sure that your audio output type in the voice attack settings is set to Integrated Components. That is the most common issue for audio not working with the voicepack1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
