  • No Voicepacks can be detected - DO NOT USE THIS PROFILE

    Having problems with latest update of HCS packs. All uninstalled and new packs installed fine. All run fine on the computers primary account. I have an additional ED account, which runs under a separate windows account using the runas feature, and has worked perfectly fine in the past. I have standard VA shortcut for the primary working perfectly well, and the one below to run as diff user for the secondary elite account.

    C:\Windows\System32\runas.exe /savecred /user:username "CMD /C start /B D:\VoiceAttack\VoiceAttack.exe"

    This shortcut used to work, after primary account setup, I used to just remove the singularity profile, close and re-open va, import the new profile, then close/reopen va, and all worked well.

    Has anyone any idea what's wrong, or what I've done wrong. Tried several times.

    The first capture is the secondary account not working, the second capture is the main account, both using same VA and HCS installation files/location.

    If you are running as a 2nd windows user account, then you will also have to install the voicepacks under that as well. This is due to the registry
    1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
    2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
    3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
    4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong

      ARRGHHH, will try that. I assume this is another MICROSOFT thing, as this used to work fine with only a single installation. Everything was setup to not need to continually log in as other users.

        Hello everyone,
        I am having an issue getting Voice Attack to read the voice packs from HCS. I purchased voice attack via steam last night and downloaded the HCS VoicePacks Ltd 2018. I keep getting the following errors:

        6:24:41 PM - No Voicepacks can be detected - DO NOT USE THE PROFILE
        6:24:41 PM - I'm looking for them here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\VoiceAttack\Sounds\HC S TOOLS\Profiles\Elite Dangerous

        your support in resolving this iisue would be greatly appreciated as I have been on the web for hours trying to find a solution, thank you.

          If what you downloaded was [url=https://www.hcsvoicepacks.com/collections/voice-packs/products/hcstools]this[/ulr] then you would need to purchase one of the other voicepacks (as it says in the description)

            Thank you Gangrel for your reply, you are correct in regards to purchasing another voice pack. It would have been great if they allowed you to try a demo in order to see if you liked it before having to purchase another. Thanks again for your help and clarification.

              Ok, similar problem here.
              Yesterday I purchased and downloaded VoiceAttack (Full), HCS Tools and LEO VoicePack.
              Installed in default locations, as admin, in this order: VA, Tools, LEO (also tried clean installation VA-LEO-Tools).
              I have "HCS TOOLS" and "hcspack-LEO" folders in C:\Program Files (x86)\VoiceAttack\Sounds (same path is set in VA config).
              I have "HCS VoicePack Plugins" in C:\Program Files (x86)\VoiceAttack\Apps (same path is set in VA config).
              Imported Singularity profile.
              Running VA as admin.
              Still the same error:

              19:23:12 - Plugin support enabled.
              19:23:12 - Plugin 'HCS Plugin v3.02 - (c) HCS VoicePacks Ltd 2016' initialized.
              19:23:13 - Singularity v2.03 - VoiceAttack v1.7.3
              19:23:13 - VoiceAttack profile - (c) HCS VoicePacks Ltd 2018

              19:23:17 - Running diagnostic checks...

                  Downloaded LEO again, but this time from sendowl profile. Guess the link in purchase email downloaded some old version [facepalm]
