  • Astra Unexpected Error

I am getting the following Error:
16:23:33 - HCS Elite Dangerous Journal Reader ERROR: Unexpected end when deserializing object. Path 'Modules', line 1, position 72.
As I hadn't used HCS for ED in a while I uninstalled everything and then installed the latestc voice pack for Astra following the instructions regarding plugins, launching as administrator etc. I have done this three times now and still have same error. I emptied my ED save foclder, re-icnstalled Astra and still get tha error cycling continuously.

I am running version 2.4 of Astra

    Help!

Can you post an image of your voice attack window once it finishes loading up please.
    1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
    2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
    3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
    4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong
WARNING! Swedish wall-of-text hits you for bork-bork-bork damage!

Right, the Astra Full house profile is way way out of date, and we have since moved onto the singularity profile (along with its updated plugin as well)

If you redownload your voicepack via the email link that you would have (it should be to a sendowl link) then uninstall and remove the existing profile (and plugin in this case) and reinstall the ASTRA voice pack and HCSTOols, then you will be good to go once you import the new profile. The new profile that you import will be located in VoiceAttack\Sounds\HCSTools\Profiles\ <game specific folder>

Was sure I had replied to this.

Uninstall everything HCS related in your Add/remove programs control panel
Make sure that the Apps and Sounds folders for Voice Attack are clear of HCS related folders
          Redownload ASTRA
Install ASTRA and download the HCSTools (given option at end of ASTRA install)
The new profile that you import will be located in VoiceAttack\Sounds\HCSTools\Profiles\ <game specific folder>

OK, I have no idea how that happeed as I thought I had downloaded all the updated files. When I looked I noticed the other packs I have, not installed, were all 2019. Just Astra was wildly out of date and I never noticed

Now I just have to work out the new scanning modes but thats not your problem lol

            Thanks.
