  • few noob questions plus a quick thank you to the HCS team.

    Hi!

I am the proud owner of the ASTRA pack and so far i am loving it so so much! Thank you HSC, its a game changer and i dont feel quiet so lonely now in my Cobra.

I have a few questions as a game noob to Elite Dangerous and ASTRA.

    1) i have in my game the default voice pack from its game store, i think the french one, Celeste? but now have my sweet HSC ASTRA. But i hear both. How do i turn off the game one so its only ASTRA or should i leave it alone? would it be the Audio section and Voice Volume? i didnt want to break ASTRA.

    2) is there a way to activate Supercruise Assist with ASTRA. I can get her to activate Supercruise iself when i want to approach a station but its not the assisted Supercruise . ( the action that has it slow the ship when arriving for you).

    3) Is there an easy section or link or guide for setting up ASTRA to respond if i say Hello Astra when starting the game? i saw in the ASTRA promotional plugin youtube video the player was having a very casual fun conversation with ASTRA through out. In my game she is fairly formal and wont even aswer to ASTRA or hello. She does respond to my command keybinds and controls the ship wonderfully and i have invoke on so she will have things on her mind as well as facts ( hawkings, galactic etc) but no casual less predictable comments

agai thank you HSC and anyone that can help

    1) You can disable the ingame COVAS using the ingame volume settings

    2) Nope, because there is no hotkey for it (we would love it otherwise)

    3) Admittedly that video is a bit old now, but you have to preface referring to a voicepack with "Crewman", so "Crewman ASTRA", "Crewman Eli", "Crewman Leo" (for example). You can remove this requirement in the voice trigger editor in the customiser (Under Crew Command Roster section).

To access the customiser, you can say "Protocol override customise my settings" or press LeftAlt+LeftShift+LeftCtrl+Enter

    1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
    2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
    3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
    4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong
WARNING! Swedish wall-of-text hits you for bork-bork-bork damage!
