  • Voicepack registers first 'target' command, then stops

So I'm new to ED, VA, and HCS. BUT I got everything up and running by watching/reading the various videos/guides out there. Now my problem is that the first time when I use the 'target' command on a target to my front, the software does what it's supposed to do. After I come off of that target however and say 'target' again on a new object, VA tells me the command is Unrecognizable (and does nothing) forcing me to use the T key to lock on from then on. This applies to any potential target: system authority ships, bad guys, ejected equipment, etc. The other target commands (cycle target, next hostile, etc) continue to work as normal. Any help appreciated.

Target by itself is not a valid trigger phrase.

    Target lock:

Locks the target directly in front. In supercruise the science station will respond, in normal space your tactical officer will respond.

The following phrases will trigger this command:

    lock on target
    lock target
    target lock

    1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
    2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
    3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
    4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong
