Switch fire group for discovery scanner

If there is a setting for this I can't seem to find it.

My discovery scanner is on fire group beta and when i give the command it fails unless I give the command to switch to fire group beta first and then system scan, then I have to give another command to switch back to alpha. This means it takes 3 commands to do a system scan.

When using limpets there are settings to have to switch to the correct fire group and back, is there such a setting for the system scan as well and if not can it be added?
