  • Stop commands voice command

What is the voice command to terminate unwanted command sequencers?.

If I sneeze, cough, or, even breathe over my mic heavily, sometimes, the voice packs start running a variety of commands, a really good one being, the clear mass lock, while I'm trying to dock. Even after landing the command continues, and, as I take off, stats boosting, usually, into the wall. While I avoid most collisions, it's very frustrating to have no way to terminate the command, other then let the conan run until it gets away from the station and triggers the FSD. This is one example. I have a list, but, I'm not going to type them all up.

Is there a voice command to stop the running sequence, or maybe someone could instruct me on how to create a command for myself? I am not very familiar with VA and don't want to risk messing up any of the voicepacks.

We don't have a command to stop running commands / current running command at the moment. These have their own issues, especially if commands are meant to be running constantly in the background (like our profile does).

There are several things though that you can do to help improve the recognition of commands.

    Potential Solutions:
Voice Attack Settings -> Recognition Tab
    1) Take Command Weight Value down
    2) Turn the Minimum recognised Confidence level Up
    3) Enable/Disable Adaptive Recognition (restart required)
    4) Enable/Disable Acoustic Echo Cancellation (restart required)

    Voice Attack Settings -> Hotkeys
    1) enable Voice Attack to listen when you have a keyboard/joystick button (need to enable and assign joystick here) held down

Voice Attack settings -> Recognition -> utilities -> Add word to windows speech dictionary.
If you do this above option, just for a few words in the affected commands, it can help cut down on the false triggers.

If all else fails, and VA is still mishearing you when nothing is said, then it could well be a case of training up a new speech recognition profile (Voice Attack settings -> Recognition -> Utilities -> Speech Control Panel -> Advanced Speech Options

I personally use the "press a button down on my HOTAS" so VA only listens when the button is held down, because I also use the *same button* as a toggle to *disable* listening in Discord / Voice Comms when I give a command.

It helps keep false triggers down and when I am don't want VA to react to commands when I don't mean it to (like when I want to tell the cat off when he tries to climb my leg),

Those above options that I generally recommend which help the vast vast majority of users who have issues like this.

((Note: If I scratch my nose with an active mic, VA will recognise that as "Deploy hard points"))
    1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
    2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
    3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
    4) Never tell Gangrel to do anything... he will probably get it wrong
WARNING! Swedish wall-of-text hits you for bork-bork-bork damage!

Well, it's not what I was hoping for, but I will have a look at the options, you suggested.

      Thanks.
