VA Profile setup help

Hello Readers,

I bought the DARK profile, followed the instruction and also watch all the tutorial videos. Still my VA does not work, below is the video.

Have you done the tutorial for Speech recognition?

Looking at it, you have the pack installed correctly, the fact that it completed the command for "What is an aurora" proves this.

Now, you might have to either do more training for the speech recognition or start a new profile for it.

On Windows 8 (or 8.1) you can do this by just typing "Change Text To Speech settings" and clicking the result (Has a microphone as an icon).

Click the first tab (Speech Recognition) and then you see the option of creating a new profile, deleting one (if you have more than one) or training a profile.

I would recommend using the "train profile" option here. Looking at the video, I can see as to why Voice Attack would have difficulties working out what you are saying. However, by doing the training exercises, it will help the computer understand you. The important thing to remember here is that humans are VERY good at deciphering things. Computers need help. I still (even after several weeks of using it) occasionally do a quick training session, just to refine it more and more.
