hi i was able to get the updates to all but 2 of my packs as the ones i couldnt download they never had any downloads left for this update and i dont remember how to contact the creator to get them i have the license keys though the packs were Midnight and MinuS

How long does this normally take? I have sent 2 Emails now and I got no response. Very inconvenient I must say!

Replied and reset. Only email received was at 21:05pm UK Time (Time as of post is 21:26)

My download count is at zero so cant get the latest update. I have not recived a new link which should uato generate with ther new down load counter applied

Gangrel, Ive spent 30 years as a programmer, so when something doesn't work the way its intended it doesn't irritate me... I treat it like a puzzle.
I found this on the last TWO updates (current and previous).
Ive got multiple packs. Like most punters I extract them to their own folder on another drive then apply them alphabetically:- ASTRA all the way through to VERITY.

The following behaviour IS repeatable (did it twice to make sure)
Start with ASTRA and it makes NO difference which way you apply the registration code (manual typing or cut & paste) the NEXT button stays grayed out.
Abandoned that and went to CARINA, manually inserted registration code...voila! Proper installation! (second run I used DARK when ASTRA wouldn't work)

The point seems to be that for whatever reason ASTRA doesn't trigger the ACTIVATE/GIVE FOCUS to NEXT BUTTON on the dialogue box if its the first Installation but will happily work correctly AFTER other packs have installed.

Hope this observation gives you a clue as to where to look for an oops!

I went to upgrade Eli with the latest updates today, after I pasted in the serial number I found that the next box still greyed out, so I could not proceed. What do I need to do to fix this? Other voice packs have gone in with no problem. It is the same licence number as the previously installed versions.


OK, I fixed the problem. I went to settings and uninstalled the voice pack from Apps & Features. I've not had this
before, I normally just delete the voice pack folders in the sounds folder. So lesson learned as I should have read the information at the top of the email with the download information!

When I type in the serial number for the Elite Astra the NEXT box is grayed out and it will not proceed with the install. I have typed it in and copy, pasted it in and made sure there are no spaces but neither work.

we do send emails to everyone but some ppl don't receive them

ALL packs except Mars,Legend,Venus and Z were last updated on 20/12/17

How do we know if there are updates available for specific voice packs? Is there an automated update process?

The serial stays the same.

And when a pack update gets released, a new link is auto-generated for you, with a new download counter applied to it

THIS should be in bold and in the first post of this sticky. This was my problem.

If you are Cut and pasting the code, sometimes a spurious space gets added at the start or end of the text. This typically causes the issue.

With the limited number of downloads, you're going to have to request a new serial at some point anyway, right?
