  • Unable to unzip HCS Profile and Plug-in Update.zip

I’ve been struggling with this for the last couple days. I recently updated my voice attack after not logging in since the Elite Dangerous 3.0 update, and updating Voice Attack was no issue. The trouble I am having is when it comes to downloading and unzipping the updated HCS pack so I can import it into Voice Attack.

i get the error message: Access to the Compressed Folder <file destination on PC>\HCS Profiles and Plug-in Updates.zip

So I cant get the VAP files to import into Voice Attack.

Any help, advise, or support will be greatly appreciated.

that looks like something very old....please download your pack again to get the latest versions and when you run the installer it will auto import the profiles into VA for you

You see, TheThingIs, eventually you'll be allright.

Thanks, I just re-downloaded the update file and was able to extract it this time. I am reading through the guide included in the ZIP now and will be running the installer. It took about 4 tries for the file to download properly so that I could extract it without that error occurring.

I was also going through my emails from HCS over the last year and one of them mentioned a software, the HCS Tool and the HCS Customizer. When I went to the URLs, they were no longer active links. Are they no longer used for HCS? Sorry, I have a lot of catching up to do.

HCS Tools is now downloaded as part of the install. The customiser is part of the plugins/profile so you access that from VA
